Just got the alert on my phone that we are the favorites to sign Steve Smith

I know he's old and I said I didn't want to sign a vet WR but I would love the toughness he'd bring to this offense

I hope flacco can handle him being a loud mouth, outspoken, and probably getting smacked up literally when he has flucco games.

If Steve Smith is calm and plays tough in games i'm all for it....but i dunno about him sometimes.

Great news. Considering what D'Qwell and Dansby got, that's a good value, too.

Should also mean they won't have to key on Mosley at #17. They could still take him, but now we can probably look at going BPA as usual (especially if S. Smith signs).

Good signing. I was really hoping we'd re-sign him. $4m a year is good value too.

I know it's not been the biggest splashes this offseason, but I love what Ozzie's done so far: not throwing money at the big names right away, letting the market establish these positions' values, keep your focus on the draft

sure it would have been great adding a DQwellJackson or Jairus Byrd, but we have a front office that can draft guys who are (obviously) gonna be cheaper and younger. I'd rather build a foundation that creates great players than try to spend every dime on unsigned free agents

in Ozzie we trust brehs
