Dreams Are Colder Than Death...
Figured the thread wasn't being upped for something positive smh

Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh gave a full injury rundown after Thursday’s organized team activity (OTA) practice, and there was more good news than bad.
Here’s the update:
Pierce Ahead Of Schedule
During rookie camp just two weeks ago, Harbaugh said that running back Bernard Piercewould likely be out until training camp because the Ravens didn’t want to risk him falling on his surgically-repaired shoulder.
Yet Pierce was on the field doing individual drills on Thursday, including catching some passes. Pierce has also tweeted that he’s sprinting, showing he’s getting his legs lumbered up for action.
“Maybe a little bit ahead of schedule – maybe,” Harbaugh said. “[It’s] just the fact that we really didn’t expect him to do that at this point, so he’s really working hard.”
Pierce’s return is big for the Ravens considering starter Ray Ricecould face a suspension at the beginning of the season and rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro
was also recently arrested.
Cody Had Hip Surgery
When nose tackle Terrence Codyre-signed with the Ravens this offseason, he was excited to finally be healthy after numerous offseason procedures.
Cody has had another, this time to clean out some damage in his hip, which will sideline him for a couple months.
“He’s got a chance to be back for training camp. He’s rehabbing every day doing a good job with that,” Harbaugh said.
Mellette Still Having Issues With Knee
Wide receiver Aaron Melletteis still having trouble with his injured knee from almost a year ago.
Drafted in the seventh round last year, Mellette battled through knee pain and still had a strong preseason performance. He found out he had torn cartilage and was placed on injured reserve six days after the season-opener in Denver.
Mellette was practicing on Thursday, but is day-to-day.
“He’s been on and off,” Harbaugh said. “[The knee has] been flaring up and swelling up when he works doing different things. He was out there today and looked good and we’ll see how he responds tomorrow. We had some issues.”
Campanaro Still Sidelined
This year’s seventh-round pick, wide receiver Michael Campanaro, is still dealing with an injured hamstring. He tweaked it during his second day of practice, before rookie minicamp, and hasn’t practiced since.
Harbaugh shares local fans’ sentiments and said it’s “really disappointing” to not yet get a peek at what Campanaro can do on the field.
“He’s working hard to get back. Hopefully he’ll be back next week as soon as possible,” Harbaugh said. “I’m on him pretty hard about it. Local boy. He needs to be out there.”
Urban Suits Up
Rookie fourth-round pick Brent Urbanis healthy enough to take the field, and is trying to work his way through a college ankle injury.
Urban had surgery in early February and said he expected to be back in late-May or early June, so he’s right on schedule. The 6-foot-7 Urban certainly looked the part of a big, strong defender.
“Brent Urban has been out there the last couple of days practicing as well,” Harbaugh said. “He had a little scar tissue thing yesterday which actually made it feel better today, so we’ll see where he’s at tomorrow.”
Other Injury Notes
The Ravens had good overall participation. The only veterans not present for voluntary OTAs were outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata
and defensive end Chris Canty
. Suggs and Ngata generally skip OTAs and Canty is a 31-year-old veteran.
Offensive tackle Jah Reiddidn’t practice because of calf strain and is expected to be out for a couple weeks. Ryan Jensen
took his reps at right tackle behind Rick Wagner
.
Harbaugh reiterated that left guard Kelechi Osemeleis 100 percent back from last season’s back injury, which knocked him out for most of the year.
Defensive end Kapron Lewis-Mooreis “doing a really good job” with his injured knee and has had no ill effects.
Undrafted offensive tackle James Hursthas been fine since sliding out of the draft because of a broken leg.
Pass-rushing outside linebacker Adrian Hamiltonis back on the field after spending last year on injured reserve due to a wrist surgery. “He’s back 100 percent. He looks good. His wrist is a little sore from pushing and pulling, but he looks good,” Harbaugh said.

Jimmy Smith got arrested for disorderly conduct brehs
That's the 5th Raven arrested this offseason![]()

Police said Smith was helping an intoxicated woman in the bathroom of a Towson, Maryland bar when she because nauseated. After medics arrived, officers repeatedly asked Smith to step aside and he allegedly refused to comply, saying several times that he was helping the woman.
Smith became argumentative when they asked him to step into the hallway, according to police. Police said Smith was cooperative with officers after being arrested.

Ravens starting cornerback Jimmy Smith was arrested and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct Saturday night after an alleged incident at The Greene Turtle in Towson, according to Baltimore County police.
Police said Smith, 25, was cited for failure to obey a lawful order of a police officer.
Ravens team officials are aware of the incident involving Smith.
"We're gathering information about this," Ravens senior vice president of public and community relations Kevin Byrne said.
Officers went to The Greene Turtle on York Road after they were informed by the general manager of the restaurant that there was an unconscious woman in a bathroom at the Towson restaurant and bar, according to police.
Upon their arrival, police said, they saw Smith in the bathroom with the woman. The woman was intoxicated, according to police. Police said that the NFL player was assisting her when she vomited while leaning over a sink.
Smith told police that he and the woman had done a photo shoot together earlier in the evening, according to a police report.
Police said that after medics arrived, officers repeatedly asked Smith to step aside and he allegedly refused to comply and said several times that he was helping the woman. Police said Smith became argumentative when they asked him to step into the hallway.
According to the police report, Smith was told that because he wasn't related to the woman and wasn't helping her that he needed to leave so that medical personnel could attend to her and Smith replied: "I am helping her."
According to the police report, Smith was asked three times by an officer to leave the restroom before being ushered out to the hallway. Smith allegedly cursed at the arresting officer and asked him "What the [expletive] are you gonna do?" When told again to leave, Smith replied: [Expletive] you. What the [expletive] are you gonna do?"
Smith was then placed in handcuffs. While at the Towson precinct, according to the police report, Smith told the officer: "The only reason you arrested me is so you could get on the news."
According to the police report, the officer informed Smith that he wasn't aware of who he was and that wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of the incident.
Smith then said, according to the report, "You will see this [Sunday] on ESPN."
After Smith was arrested, Baltimore County police said, he was cooperative with officers at the precinct.
Smith was released from custody from the Towson police precinct at about 11:15 p.m. after being issued a citation; a court date is pending. The woman was transported to a local hospital, according to police.
This marks the fifth arrest of a Ravens player this offseason.
That includes the following cases: running back Ray Rice (felony aggravated assault, Atlantic City, N.J., accepted into pretrial diversion program), offensive lineman Jah Reid (misdemeanor battery, Key West, Fla., accepted into pretrial diversion program), wide receiver Deonte Thompson (felony possession of marijuana, Gainesville, Fla., case dismissed) and rookie running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (misdemeanor destruction of property, drunk and disorderly, Williamsburg, Va., case pending with July 31 court date).
Smith, a 2011 first-round draft pick from Colorado, hadn't previously been in trouble with the law since joining the Ravens.
When Smith entered the NFL, though, he faced scrutiny about his character because of a history of off-field problems. During his time as an underclassman at Colorado, Smith reportedly failed at least one drug test. He was also cited for third-degree assault and underage drinking violations.
Smith is entering his fourth NFL season and is regarded as one of the top young defensive players on the roster.
The 6-foot-2, 209-pound California native had 58 tackles, two interceptions and a career-high 15 pass deflections last season. In three NFL seasons, Smith has 112 career tackles, 26 pass deflections and four interceptions.
The Ravens have said they eventually want to sign Smith to a long-term contract extension.
The Ravens exercised a fifth-year option for 2015 for Smith this offseason, meaning he's due a $6.898 million base salary that year. The salary becomes fully guaranteed if he's on the roster the first day of the 2015 league year.
Smith's original four-year rookie contract included a $3.926 million signing bonus. He's due a $1.392 million base salary this year.
