Eddie Rosario missed out on a cycle. Got robbed in his last at bat when he only needed a single.

We may not finish the job this year, but there is a lot of young talent and they've spent big money (poorly) on pitching the last two years so next year they should be more set for a playoff run

Astros beat the shyt out of the Angels this series outscoring them 19-8 in the three game sweep. they got the best pitcher in baseball Dallas Keuchel (leading all of MLB in wins, 3rd in ERA) and now the addition of Kazmir (who's leading all of MLB in ERA). let alone their hitting (Altuve, Correa, Gattis, Springer, etc) them boys gonna be trouble in the post season if they win the division.

How many games did Trout play in this series? Just wondering.

yes if Trout would have played he definitely would have made up all of those 11 extra runs they lost by....

:mjlol:

Yeah, because his bat isn't enough to possibly make a team go into their bullpen earlier, or set up additional hitters and let them see better pitches.

Nah.

Anyway, I was being serious ... :aicmon:.

ain't no doubt your boy Trout is a beast, but that "one man show" logic is flawed for several reasons.

first, the Astros outscored the Angels by 11 runs this series (and btw have outscored them 57-38 all season long)
second, the Astros have one of the best pitching staffs in baseball

but most importantly I don't think you have noticed just how poorly Trout has fared against Houston this season. Astros have owned him

Mike Trout vs Houston Astros 2015

Games: 10
Batting Average: .222 (8 for 36 :mjlol:)
Strikeouts: 13
Home Runs: 4
RBI: 7

Trout has been dominated by their pitching all year along (and he hasn't even had to deal with ERA league leading Kazmir yet). had the Astros lost the series the way the Angels did, they could have used the same excuse that it was because they were missing their best power hitter in George Springer who has been injured since June. baseball isn't a one man show.

Mike Leake has pitched pretty well the last month or so. Looking at his number he has pitched better away from home. So I think trading for him was good, but I'm just not sure if the Giants can rely on him in October. Plus they traded their best prospect for him.

Why are you typing all of this out because of ONE question? :kobefacepalm: Are you that insecure over your team??

And let's pretend Trout can't get hot against a team in any given series. Ok. I hope all Astros fans don't become as insufferable as you.

you basically blamed the sweep on Trout not playing. that alone was worth posting the facts that you didn't know about :pachaha:
