That being said, he'd be an upgrade over what Boston currently has, but the way the media fawns over this guy is nauseating. This guy didn't build the Big Red Machine, A's of the early 70s, 90s Yankees or even the recent Giants. It makes no sense why Dombrowski is getting praised like he is with NO mention of the MASSIVE payroll advantage he enjoyed over the rest of the AL Central.

Dombrowski has basically been the AL Central Brian Cashman and that guy never gets any credit. Shows you what good media connects do for your reputation.
