They're heavy hitters, Rendon, Werth, Zimmerman missed significant time. They're pitching sans Scherzer hasn't lived up to all the expectations. Even Scherzer is scuffling since the all star break. Ian Desmond and Wilson Ramos had a horrible 1st half. Denard Span also missed a lot of time. He was good for them last year.What has happened to the Nats is some wild shyt. I didnt think they would win 110 game or anything, but for them to be a long shot at this point is
Bryce Gawd having an All time season and nobody else on the offense has bothered to show up
Strasburg cant stay healthy or consistent when he's healthy, Scherzer aint pitching like he was earlier in the year, they werent winning then but if he aint pitching good, they have no shot.
I'm sorry @mastermind, I think i'd rather deal with 4 consecutive 90 loss seasons than a team built like this falling on their face
Hutchison shouldnt be anywhere near a playoff rotation...You cant trust him.Too many bad pitches...Offense has saved his ass too many times this season....I cant stand pitchers that dont have a plan on the mound and just throw fastballs middle of the plate in any count and hope for the best....Ive seen too many awful mistakes by him this year,he was the first guy i would have left off the top 4 before his last start...
Too many mistakes...that horrible 2 strike pitch to ortiz we have seen him make all year long.
