Injuries to their closer Doolittle have thrown things out of whack for a bit

it's not like BB tinkered with the pen much... in fact he re-enforced it with Tyler Clippard

This team always gets rid of its best players once they start heating up, and try to fix things that aren't broken. I know many posters on the AthleticsNation forum defend Beane, but the dude is past his time. Moneyball doesn't get titles, and it doesn't help a team stay consistent. I think they need a new GM.

You're point was how many times they made to the playoffs, but all but one year they lost in the 1st rd. After his team making the playoffs so many times and not winning, the regular season starts to not matter.
