Cespedes is on one of the great free agent tears I can remember. Slugging .660 with the Mets. :whew:

What's he gonna get in free agency and what are the Mets gonna have to offer in that five day window to retain him? :patrice:

They reworded it and they can now resign him after the 5 days

It's one extra team that can get involved with the bidding now.
True, but with the five day window, the Mets would have had to offer an insane contract to keep him. More than what he'd get on the open market.

What has happened to the Nats is some wild shyt. I didnt think they would win 110 game or anything, but for them to be a long shot at this point is :mindblown:

Bryce Gawd having an All time season and nobody else on the offense has bothered to show up :mjcry:

Strasburg cant stay healthy or consistent when he's healthy, Scherzer aint pitching like he was earlier in the year, they werent winning then but if he aint pitching good, they have no shot.

I'm sorry @mastermind, I think i'd rather deal with 4 consecutive 90 loss seasons than a team built like this falling on their face :mjcry:

they've had injuries throughout this season but the fall off happened when they got healthy. THats what makes this so amazing.

But more than anything, no one had an idea that Craig Stamen being out for the year would destroy the bullpen. Its been awful.

I think the Nats have lost leads after the 6th in 7 out of our last 9 losses or something incredible. I just want this season to be over.

One of the Cubs/Pirates not making it into the true postseason is gonna be a shame. I wanna see the Cubs just to see their kids and offense against playoff pitching but the Pirates might be the 2nd best team in the league and I love McCutchen, Marte, Cole and Liriano :mjcry:

it is a shame, Pirates have that 'true team' appeal and of course Cutch is about as likable superstar in sports today. but the Cubs got the eye-popping young talent

i hope the A's break out the brooms for the Stros tonight, yall fukked up our stretch run last year its only right :mjcry:
