The Mets if they know what's good for them.

After seeing schwarber hit .412 in the world series and was the only cubs hitter to get to kluber in game 1.

2nd lefty all season to draw a walk off miller and outside 8 afl ab's not facing any live mlb picthing in almost 7 months do you still think schwarber is not the cubs best hitter and adam dunn 2.0 ?

On the Yankees, no.

Again, I don't dislike Schwarber, but him on the Yankees wouldn't be any different than any other lefty slugger on the Yankees once they get porch happy.

If you wanna call $27.5 mil for 1 year of what was gonna be a 3 year $75 mil deal a bargain deal, be my guest.

Fair point, it's a high amount for annual salary, but it's not 5 years/115+ mil.
I'd be shocked if he gets a 5+ year deal, and that was the point I was making. The average annual amount doesn't mean that much if it's a short to midterm deal(1-4 years). Those shorter deals are better, because it's less likely you have an albatross contract on payroll.

he wouldn't take 5 for $115 though.

He's gonna ask for damn near $30 mil per

Brett Cecil got 4/$30.5 million and he had an ERA just a little under 4.00 this season. Throws less than an inning per appearance over his career too. Kenley and Aroldis are definitely getting $100 million. :wow:

Twins got Castro :blessed: Seems like they didn't have to overpay too much. Around 7-8 mil a year seemed about the market value. Shocked the Twins got him though with so many other teams needing a catcher.
