Trying to wrap my head around the fact that Josh McCown shredded this D for almost half a grand.

Josh. Mc. Cown. Josh.......Mc......Cown.

This season is starting to feel a lot like 2007.
This is worse. It's clear as day injuries aren't the top issue. Our staff has put us in position to fail every single game for years now. I don't know that even Erik spoelstra gave as bad a performance last year when he cost the heat 12 games by my count.

We've been bad in other facets but most of it is on Dean Pees. There is no way any of our CBs are gonna look good with these huge cushions and soft zones. The blitzing is ridiculously predictable as well. Just Mosley and D. Smith every time.

How did this happen?:why: Like :why:

To be fair, this ain't the first time he shredded us. He did it two years ago when he was with the Bears in a similar type of game.

Truth is we got too cute in building this team. We over hyped our young depth including our recent draft picks (like we do every year).

We have the oldest pass rushing tandem in the league and we backed them up with scrubs. We had an old #1 receiver who got worn down by playoff time and paired him with an unproven rookie with brittle knees. Our receiver depth is nothing but low round/undrafted scrubs. Our secondary is made up of other teams cast aways, over hill players, and once again low round/undrafted scrubs.

The front office and coaching staff ignored or half-assed every weakness this team had from the last season.

I'm not too mad though because I saw this in the off-season and pre-season.

I was screaming to sign a corner all year and a young pass rusher. Instead we dumped ngata and McPhee and grabbed a corner the pats decided wasn't worth a contract.
