So im watching yesterdays Vikings game right now and still can't believe we didn't draft Stefon Diggs

How in the world did he slip to the 5th round

Why in the world did we pass on this nikka 3 fukkING TIMES in the 4th round

Instead we draft a CB that everyone said was a 7th round prospect(Tray Walker) and now we play CBs that have only been on the team a few days over playing him

If its one team that shouldve known Diggs was a gem its the Ravens.hes a local kid for christs sake.He played right at Maryland and basically every local Ravens fan was begging the team to draft

If that. I had my eye on him as someone who might wind up here, but I was thinking as a UDFA, not a dang 4th-rounder!

I had a feeling that Diggs, if he stayed healthy, could step in and contribute right away. 'Least he didn't wind up in Cleveland or somewhere where we'd have to see him twice a year.

I really hope the Cards blow us the fukk out tonight

Changes need to be made and im sick of hearing Harbs "were close,1 or 2 plays go our way..." speech every fukking week after we lose

Everything's pointing towards that. Cards are at home and should be good and mad after a bad L last week, they're a blitz-happy team (which Joe struggles against), and that O-Line + those WRs vs. this defense....well, yeah. And yet.....I think this team might actually show some pride and come out swinging. Haven't lost by > 6 pts. yet this season.

Somehow I think they hang in there again and it comes down to the last couple (failed, probably ) possessions.

How the fukk did those two get that power over ozzie? he had a great 15 year run before these last 7 drafts. How does a special teams coach and whatever decosta does get that power over Ozzie? Here I was thinking he just fell off, but the two of them are having say in our war room?

i wouldn't say they got power over Ozzie,its more of a shared responsibility now

DeCosta is Ozzies protégé/GM in waiting.Hes been here forever but has basically been co-GM the last 5 or so years.Hes the one that kept trading out of the 1st round a few years back.Hes said several times he hate trading up/giving up picks cause he values them so much and he'd rather trade back and get more picks

Harbs started getting more power around the same time

Im gonna try and find the state of the Ravens press conference from this offseason but they went into detail about all this.Basically Ozzie doesn't make any decisions on his own anymore.Those 3 make them all collectively

as for harbs, if he knows so little on offense and defense he's deferred and caped for cam and mattison and pees, he has no business making personnel choices. If decosta values quantity over quality in picks and had a hand in some of our awful draft picks since 2009, he can too. We could have had gronk in 2010 instead of letting new England get him while we trade down and take Sergio kindle, ed dikkson, Terrence cody and dennis pitta while dikkson gave us a solid 2010, pitta had a decent 2011 and 2012, and got nothing ever out of kindle. Cody was nothing to write home about either

the defense gets thoroughly embarrassed every week and has been really since 2013 with this sort of coaching and coverage we call. Good point about a nationally televised exposure of how bad it is might be a good thing though
