Yeah...we know Oz generally doesn't go for WRs early on in the draft, but he's gotta grab a speedy one soon this year. Perriman might be there at #26...I'll be interested to see how he does on his pro day.

Agholor, Lockett, Coates - these are among some guys who could be there for us late in the 2nd.

Flacco never had a sure fire #1 stud receiver, never had a consistent offensive coordinator or a consistent offensive line. He just turned 30 and is still young. I believe his best years are still ahead.

We still need someone with speed. Let's not forget the days of Mason, TJ, and Boldin. We're not going anywhere trotting out three possession guys every down.
we need a legit #1

someone who has speed and can run routes

Torrey isnt that guy

this draft is deep at WR and we probably can get somebody better than Torrey in the 2nd round

i want Maxx Williams or Jaelen Strong is the 1st round

either one of those guys would be perfect for us

if we go with the TE i want Stefon Diggs or Agholor in the 2nd

then we could still get back like TJ Yeldon or Jeremy Langford in the 3rd

going TE in the 1st might be the way to go since its the weakest position out of all our needs and if the #1 TE is still on the board at 26 i dont think Ozzie will pass on him

Gonna miss Jacoby. That season saving Flacco to Jacoby touchdown throw in Denver during our superbowl run is one of my all time favorite moments in sports.

Him not doing anything in the receiving game was frustrating af though.

Who does our #1 become with Torrey gone? What will our corps look like?

Yeah we need someone to catch the ball badly. 82 is the best wr we ever drafted :scust:. What defensive backs are on the market? We ain't going anywhere regardless if we lose McPhee and still leave the WOAT secondary in place.

The biggest needs on defense is someone to complement Jimmy on the other side of the field and a SS.

Webb had that one breakout season but been :flabbynsick: since.

And Elam probably the worst NFL safety I've ever seen :sadbron:

I'm sure they could get a good SS and CB in the second or 3rd round. Ozzie just really need to go with a WR early this year.

Watching Brady pick our secondary apart was painful. I'm still mad we lost that. We woulda gave the Colts that work.

Webb was great in 2012 before he got hurt and I think he was top ten in 2013. Elam I think is a worse safety than ryan leaf was a qb or Norris cole is a point guard though. Would we really though Versa? we already lost once in their house and we have 0 defensive backs who belong anywhere but a practice squad besides smith. We need more EVERYTHING on the back end of the defense. A dc who doesn't spend all game in prevent defense would go a long way too. It wears the defense down and usually leaves the offense with a long field since it rarely generates turnovers.

Edit: just got an update on my phone that we are targeting washingon cb marcus peters with our first round pick.

naw it was his time to go

we need route runners not guys who can only run deep

honestly i hope we let Torrey walk too

Eh, I rather keep him since I think he would be cheaper than Torrey, and at least gives us a special teams boost. Although I like Torrey, dude is just not worth it if he wants 1st string money.

We gotta get a WR in this draft though, Ozzie doesn't have any excuses this time.

Outside returns jacoby is useless. He had more drops than catches this past season I think. Under no circumstances is he better than a number 4 receiver on a good team

Jacoby Jones is officially gone

Got released today

i felt he was serviceable, but didn't get enough burn at WR. I like the fact torrey can stretch the field but his route running is suspect...you can do both look at the steelers WR's over the last several years. you don't need dedicated speed guys to clear things out...i feel like torrey smith is replaceable especially since he's not the type to fight for balls at the end of games.

If they go CB I'd prefer Wayne's if he's still there but Peters is :ehh:

I really want the defense to get that mean streak back like it use to have, even in the secondary.

It's the team identity. A mean, hostile, loud mouthed defense that takes no prisoners and doesn't just not lose games, but wins them. I want the secondary to play like a swarm of angry hornets again. My boy who is a dolphins fan used to legit after seeing us play check their schedule in hopes of not seeing us on it. That sort of defense usually leads to a title or two.

Seeing Reed in his prime flying all over the field was :ohlawd:

The interceptions :krs:
The tackles:krs:

There will never be another defensive duo like him and Ray again :mjcry:

Ray on the low, Reed up high....
