I watched the Weddle presser and this idiot Harbs talking about playing Weddle/Webb together

i seriously dont get why they think this brittle ass nikka will hold up playing safety when he couldnt stay healthy playing on the outside

He's never going to get it. I have no faith that this is going to work out at all. Webb was one of the bottom 10 corners in the league each of the last 2 seasons. Hill was our only defensive back last season who even looked like he belongs in the NFL.

This smells like a Dean Pees scheme-related move. Especially considering it happened right after Weddle signed.

I don't like this move, but I think it comes down to Football IQ. Will Hill has the physical gifts, but he ain't really out thinking anyone. Webb is too injury prone, old and small to be a safety, but he is smart. Last year we had one of the dumbest secondaries in the league. This year we going have one of the smartest.

With that being said I hope Terrence Brooks finally comes through, because he is definitely going to get his chance. No way Webb and Weddle last the whole season. If they do last the season then we will be plagued with missed and broken tackles.

P.S. - Kendrick Lewis and Elam should have been the first ones cut.
