They needed roster space to sign Hester and move Elam to IR. They had to keep Elam on the active roster for a full day in order to make him eligible for return. They probably had an agreement in place with Forsett beforehand, so they knew he wasn't going anywhere.

Dumervill out for week 1 
I'm really mad they cut butler ochi and Brooks they had more promise than other players playing in their respective positions.
The thing I don't like about the Ravens anymore is they aren't taking any risks. After the ray rice incident and Sergio kindle falling down the stairs they lean towards selectimg college guys with above average play and A+ character.

They do nothing but play it safe now. I think they know that the locker room leadership isn't what it used to be

Thats how Harbs wants it
He wants to be the leader thats why he got rid of all our old leaders
He doesn't like strong personalities,all the players they draft now are soft spoken quiet guys for the most part
When Smitty and Suggs are gone we are going to really struggle if Ozzie doesn't bring in some elite talent
I always try to be optimistic about our drafts but I haven't liked most of them since Harbaughs been here
I been saying for years now that they need to take some of his power away and just let Ozzie amd DeCosta do the draft
Our 2nd round pick Kamalei Correa looked like shyt in the preseason and we could've had Myles Jack or Noah Spence
Our 3rd round pick is on IR and word was he looked like shyt and didn't have NFL strength before he got hurt
All of recent 2nd and 3rd round picks have been busts expect for Brandon Williams
This is going be an important year because if we have another losing season and our rookies look mediocre Harbs will finally be the hot seat
Maybe then he'll start taking more risks to save his job

I can kinda see why they skipped on Jack after the whole Perriman thing last year. I still wanted them to take that risk tho becuz our ILBs look like shyt. Mosley needs to step the fukk up this yearThats how Harbs wants it

I didn't like the Mosely pick and he's been exactly what I thought he would be...just average
I wouldn't be surprised if Zack Orr ends up being our best MLB this year
Only 1st round pick I liked recently was the Perriman pick because atleast he has elite potential
