Just finished watching the Ed Reed retirement press conference :mjcry:

I didn't even realize how much i missed #20 until today :mjcry:

I never knew we tried to trade up in that draft to take Lito Sheppard but nobody would trade with us

Thank god Ed ended up being a Raven :whew:

Ravens fan reporting in. This years draft was strong. I heard perriman's drops were more concentration oriented rather than not having hands skills. I think he thinks too much about yac and that can be fixed.

This is also the one year I think the ravens drifted more towards drafting for need but it seemed the need and value picks lined up well.

Perriman seems like a more physical faster and stronger Torrey smith. T smith just wasn't physical enough for me.
Maxx Williams is an upgrade after Pitta/Daniels left and he stole him from Pitt.
Davis is replacing ngata seems like he has a chip on his shoulder from being selected late.
Buck Allen seems like an upgrade from Pierce. I had high hopes for pierce after his first season.

The rest have good stats and tape and look like solid backup roles or developmental prospects.

Ravens sign 15 undrafted rookie free agents

The Baltimore Ravens announced the signing of 15 undrafted rookie free agents Friday, which includes two Alabama starters (safety Nick Perry and linebacker Trey DePriest), an intriguing running back (LSU’s Terrence Magee) and an explosive returner (Cal State-Sacramento’s DeAndre Carter).

An undrafted rookie has made the Ravens' season-opening 53-man roster for 11 straight seasons, which is tied for the third longest active streak in the league. Last season, offensive tackle James Hurst, linebacker Zachary Orr and running back Fitzgerald Toussaint made the Ravens as undrafted rookies.

Here are the undrafted rookies signed by the Ravens in 2015:

OLB Darius Allen, Colorado State-Pueblo: He made 180 tackles in his four-year career and was named to the Associated Press Little All-America team. Allen will try to become the second player from Colorado State-Pueblo to make the Ravens (backup offensive lineman Ryan Jensen was drafted by the team in the sixth round in 2013).

Darryl Baldwin, Ohio State: He has outstanding length and upper-body strength, which made him a priority free agent. He has to prove himself as a run blocker. Baldwin started all 15 games at right tackle for the national champion Buckeyes.

OLB Brennen Beyer, Michigan, Michigan: He recorded 35 tackles, 5.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss in 12 games last season. Beyer was named to the Big Ten All-Academic team.

WR DeAndre Carter, Cal State-Sacramento: His best chance to make the Ravens is as a returner. Carter is explosive and is known for his work ethic. At Cal State, he averaged 23.7 yards on kickoff returns and 12.5 yards on punt returns with one touchdown.

Blaine Clausell, Mississippi State: He played 49 career games, including 38 starts at left tackle. Clausell made 13 starts for the most prolific offense in Mississippi State history.

ILB Trey DePriest, Alabama: Considered a priority free agent, DePriest is a hard-hitting run stopper who started 39 games at Alabama. He's projected as a two-down linebacker. DePriest was a member of two national championship teams.

OL Nick Easton, Harvard: He's a center prospect who has a reputation for being smart and playing with composure. Easton has to show he has the power to play at this level.

G Kaleb Johnson, Rutgers: He's very experienced, finishing his college career with 50 straight starts. Johnson was named honorable mention to the All-Big Ten team.

QB Jerry Lovelocke, Prairie View A&M: A Baltimore native, Lovelocke threw for 2,473 yards with 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions last season. He also rushed for 217 yards and 10 touchdowns.

RB Terrence Magee, LSU: Some considered Magee as a potential seventh-round pick because he has above-average vision and runs with power. Even though he has one career start, his running style could be a good fit for the Ravens' stretch zone blocking scheme.

P Justin Manton, Louisiana-Monroe: He averaged 43.1 yards on 204 career punts and made first team All-Sun Belt as a senior. He placed 20 punts inside the 20-yard line last season.

S Nick Perry, Alabama: CBS Sports ranked Perry as the 15th- best free safety prospect in this year's NFL draft and projected him as a seventh-round pick. In 13 starts last season, he recorded 80 tackles (fourth on the team), broke up six passes and made two interceptions.

OT De'Ondre Wesley, BYU: He started 13 games last season for a BYU offense that averaged 37.1 points per game, the most for the school since 2001.

CB Julian Wilson, Oklahoma: He has the size and speed to play at this level, but there are concerns about his coverage ability. Last season, Wilson made one interception -- he returned it 100 yards for a touchdown -- and broke up seven passes.

WR Cam Worthy, East Carolina: A former walk-on, he made 55 catches for 1,016 yards and four touchdowns last season. Worthy was suspended two games for violating the school's code of student conduct.

Ozzie Newsome on undrafted safety Nick Perry: 'He'll be able to come in and compete with the guys that we have.'

Ozzie Newsome: 'Nick is a young man who played in the SEC, and we'll see if he has enough ability and work ethic to make our 53-man squad.'

John Harbaugh on Marlon Brown: 'He's made improvements from last year. There were some injuries. He's a big, raw-boned talented guy.'

John Harbaugh 'We could play a game right now if we had to. We don't have glaring needs.'

John Harbaugh: 'We are still looking for defensive backs.'
