we trying to go 8-0. loses have only been less than 6 points. i'm sure marc terestman will get the word about running the ball more.

i'm saying bring in everyone for a workout. what wes welker doing? I feel flacco will play better instead of forcing to steve smith. flacco locks into SSS enitrely too much...which means other guys quit on routes. once SSS left the WRs started getting open and running routes forreal.
its not happening breh

this is a bad football team that i fear will get worse without Smitty out there

IMO him and Will Hill are the only dudes on the team that play with any type of passion.Everyone else just seems to be going thru the motions

i know theyre saying all the right things right now but i wouldnt be surprised if the Jags beat us next week

Couple things from Harbs press conference just now:

1.Decision on Pitta will be made by Wednesday.Harbs said Pitta will definitely play if doctors clear him and he doesn't have any setbacks in practice

2.Still no word on Perriman

3.Urban will practice for a couple weeks and they'll make a decision in 20 days to IR him or play him

4.They will not be evaluating young talent in the 2nd half if the season, they're trying to win/make the playoffs(:beli:)

5.expect to see more Chris Givens in the 2nd half of the season

6.teams are loading up to stop the run against us and he expects them to do it even niw that Smitty is gone so they to make teams pay for it in the passing game to open up the run

OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Doctors have advised Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta that it is not safe for him to resume his NFL career after two major hip operations, league sources told ESPN.

Pitta still has the ability to override the doctors' recommendations, according to sources, and continue his push to return to the Ravens, who must decide by 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday whether they will activate him from the physically unable to perform list or end his season.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh has left the decision to Pitta, trusting he will make the prudent choice, sources told ESPN. If Pitta opts to play, Harbaugh is prepared to place him on the roster and use him, according to sources.

Doctors met with Pitta on Tuesday to see how his surgically repaired hip responded to the practices. Pitta, who has fractured his right hip in both of the past two seasons, has practiced with the Ravens for the past three weeks and has impressed team officials.

The Ravens signed Pitta to a five-year, $32 million deal that included $16 million guaranteed during the 2013 offseason. Since that contract, Pitta has played in seven games, catching 36 passes and scoring one touchdown. Pitta is guaranteed $4 million this season, whether he plays or not.

"If it's safe and he feels like he can get out there and the hip is responding well, he's going to play," Harbaugh said Monday. "If it's not safe, he's not going to play. It's not a black and white decision, but it's a decision that he has to make with the doctors."

Steve Smith Sr. and first-round draft pick Breshad Perriman, whose knee injury has kept him off the field all season.

Pitta says hes not retiring :snoop:

So now that means we're gonna cut him after the season which means dead money on our cap

I think if he would've retired it would've freed up 7.5 mill

We should've never signed this nikka AFTER he dislocated his hip the first time :snoop:

People can talk about coaching and drafting all they want but IMO these contract signings are what hurts us the most

Giving this nikka 35 mill after dislocating his hip :snoop:

Giving Webb 10 mill per :snoop:

Giving trash ass Eugegn Monroe 8 mill per :snoop:

Giving Ngata 16 million per :mindblown:

Extending Jimmy early coming off a serious foot injury :beli:

The Flacco deal(this is the only one i feel like they didn't have a choice)

Paying a slightly above average Ray Rice 8 mill per :snoop:

I think we have given a player the richest deal for his position 6 times if im not mistaken(Ngata,Flacco,Suggs,Reed, and Ray twice)

Every year we have no money to spend in free agency because of these horrible deals they keep giving to mediocre players smh
