After the cubs acquired arrieta in 2013 his era went from 7.23 to 3.66 his whip went from 1.9 to 1.1
In 2014 era 2.53 whip 0.8 he took 3 no hitters into the 7th-8th innings in 2014.He's not on peds he always had good stuff but inconsistent control ,same thing with pedro strop he's one of the cubs high leverage relievers now when he was inconsistent too the cubs pitching coach chris bosio is one of the best in the game.
