It seems to me, the Braves ownership wants to have a stadium in the suburbs closer to their fans(most of their white fans live in the suburbs). It's a short sighted move, since more and whites nationwide are leaving the suburbs to come back to cities. I think in 15-20 years they'll regret this.

Damn, yeah theyre doing the exact opposite of every other team in sports

Even the Pistons are moving back to Detroit by 2024 and thats currently with a top level arena.

I was thinking about potential CF options for the Mets next year, since I think it's best for the Mets to trade Curtis and have Yoenis and Conforto the everyday corner outfielders. Anyway given Lorenzo Cain being a FA after the 2017 season, you think they trade so and if so what will it take for the Mets or any other team to get him?

They've got a base, rebuilding the right way, etc. The DBacks incompetent front office probably moved their rebuild up a year or two

Though the games they played to get that stadium are appalling and will forever make me root against them.

They're building an alternate practice facility Downtown within the next couple of seasons...& word is they're going to eventually move to LCA a few years after the Wings. Gores really wants the Pistons downtown.
