Yankees better off going after Machado or Harper then giving up prospects and paying that huge contract

He's a great player but they dont need him he's just more of what they have

Does Stanton to Yankees pave way for Harper to the Cubs next winter?

Stanton and Judge in the same lineup? Them niiggas would have two defensive ends batting in the middle of that lineup. They'd be hitting balls to Westchester County.... :damn:

I'd rather them not do this unless it doesn't cost much (read somewhere that the names are Clint Frazier, Jordan Montgomery, Jacoby Ellsbury and maybe Brett Gardner.

Throw in Betances too :camby:

why would any yankee fan want Stanton.
that 10 + year contract plus and opt in and all that money is just the complete opposite of where we been going plus we really are good on our hitting.

I'd be so mad if the yankees got him.
Why not get better though

because staying the course is what got the Yankees to this point. If this was for a top pitcher, sure, but the Yankees have afforded themselves 2 things

1. options

2. money coming off the books especially after next year. Stanton's nice, but he's riskier than signing Harper or Machado in a year after we reevaluate more kids coming up (Torres, Adams, Andujar, a full year of Frazier)

True but it's win time in ny, when your there go for it

There's no guarantees you would get Harper or Machado

and if they don't sign, no biggie. The fate of the Yankees doesn't rest on landing those guys as none of those guys pitch. The core of this team is already in place (Judge, Sanchez, Gregorius, Severino, Bird, Torres)
