It'll take some time to get into it. All the complaints people have of it are valid but don't rely on ESPN to give you great coverage of all teams. Check out MLB.com and watch their statcast highlights. You really see how impressive these plays and players are. If you got a playstation, buy an old game of MLB The Show. That can help you get more familiar with players you won't see as often. Especially in other leagues. There is a lot of great young talent coming up and rounding into their prime right now so I think if you got that mindset, you'll become a baseball fan just like the rest of us

I second this but with baseball you need to be up on the standings too. When I fell in love with baseball as a sport as a whole was when I realized all the variables there are in making the playoffs between winning the division and staying within the wildcard mix. Nowadays its even better cuz while you want to be in the wild card mix you don't want to play in that one game elimination so you want to stay within the division as well.

And the Twins first round draft pick, an OF is getting Tommy John this year too. Sano had TJ surgery 3 years ago too. It's crazy that position players need the surgery now too
