The elite pitching you see in the playoffs will shut down that weak lineup if they get there.
And Sale can win a first round series by himself

Simmons is ignorant, but the bigger point is probably that Dombrowski is doing what Dombrowski always does and is decimating Boston's farm system. His draft history suggests it will remain that way for a while too.
But he's arguing they shouldn't make a move because they can't win this year which is idiotic
