I hope the Cobb County Crackers make the playoffs

I wonder if any other teams will adopt Tampa’s pitching rotation scheme

I don’t expect much from the Phillies

Wish Pittsburgh was better

Does anyone give a shyt about baseball (any sport really) cards in here? I'm buying a bunch of Mookie Betts rookie cards because I think they're severely undervalued at the moment. Guys like Juan Soto and Acuna are selling around the same price or higher. Vlad Jr. is twice as much! Even Bryce Harper sells for twice as much as Mookie.

Anyways, if anyone cares, I'll update prices as the season goes along as well as what I have and how much I paid for each card.

I'm convinced there's a lot of money to be made on Mookie as long as he stays healthy and keeps killing it. Baseball and basketball card prices are really surging for a lot of key players across both sports.

new rule changes

MLB rule changes: MLB to fix baseball's worst problem: Uneven rosters

-- Pitchers will be required to face a minimum of three batters in a game beginning in 2020.

-- There will be a single July 31 trade deadline, starting this season, with teams prohibited from making any type of trade after that date.

-- Mound visits will be reduced from six to five during games beginning this year, and perhaps reduced to four visits in 2020.

-- There will be an All-Star election day starting this summer where fans can determine the starting players in the All-Star Game with 24-hour voting.

-- The Home Run Derby will now pay $1 million to the winning player.

-- Commercial breaks during innings will be shortened by 20 seconds to 2 minutes.

-- Position players will be prohibited from pitching in games that don’t go into extra innings, unless a team is ahead or behind by at least eight runs.

Ehhh, not really sure about the first one :patrice: Seems like it will mess up certain strategies managers use.

Still no DH in the NL :martin:

This plus the DL going back to 15 days will make relievers more important and therefore increase their salaries/FA market. Only players getting phased out really are LOOGY bums :manny:

And fixed
