AL East: Yankees

NL East: tough one... Between the Braves and Phillies I'd say ATL

NL Central: Cubs

Kimbrel rumors must mean that Jeffress' low velo problems must be a bit more serious. Hopefully not, cause if we for some reason bring Kimbrel in, and have a fully healthy Jeffress, our bullpen is gonna be full of filth. We'll see.

Oh, and the season technically opens in about 6 hours. Mariners/Athletics in Japan. Ichiro gonna be in the lineup too.

He was until he got hurt last year, then we used everybody to finish games, mostly Jeffress. Knebel will probably get the full-time role back, but the fact that we're even talking to Kimbrel makes me think the Jeffress thing is worse than they're letting on.

Attanasio has always been willing to spend if the circumstances were right. He won't go nuts obviously, but I'm sure anything done with Kimbrel will be for a year, and he's cool with that.
