I hope the giants claim kemp, do u think he can handle a starting role at second?
He’s ready for everyday duty at 2nd, he’s too small and arm isn’t great enough to beam someone up from a deep field.

I know Tony Gwynn is an all time great but I will never understand why more players don't try and do what he did. I'm tired of the game being basically home runs or strikeouts. Put the ball in play, get on base, make the pitcher work.

You say that like it's easy. Jeff McNeil is hitting .342 and it took his singles-hitting, no power having ass until he was like 26 to make it to the league, and if he keeps on the same track then he's not getting paid shyt in arbitration, which rewards HRs and RBIs over anything. The game different now. Tony Gwynn is equivalent to a Bill Russell, where he would be a great player in any era, but he *might* not be as legendary as he is if he got dropped into the game today.

He would be forced to change his swing due to launch angle

It took him this long to make the pros because of his injury history, not for a lack of skill.

I was thinking Stroman. Let's see who we get
Luhnow been after Stroman for a while. I believe he tried to trade Castro for him back when Castro had his all star season.

I think Luhnow is trying to make J.B. the centerpiece in any trade. Of course J.B. was suppose to go to Wash. for Harper until their ownership rejected it.

J.B., Toro, Rojas and Beer.. would be decent haul for the Jays.

Stroman spinrate

Sinker 2354
Slider 2826
Cutter 2597
Fastball 2492

But he mainly uses his Sinker, slider and cutter the most.
