He about to be wylin on those base paths. He’s going to get picked off or pitched out every time he’s on first.
If Acuña was hitting leadoff when the season began, he'd likely have 40 or more. He was hitting cleanup early in the season. I'm glad Brian Snitker realized he's better leading off and moved him to the top of the lineup.

I’m happy for you Atl bros. I was a big fan of the big 3 phase since they kept knocking us out the playoffs every year since we ran into that buzz saw of a rotation.

He wasn't regressing he was still throwing mid 90's on detroit, in 2019 he's giving up the hardest contact of his mlb career, highest fb/hr%, most hr's and has the lowest babip of his mlb career yet has his lowest hits per 9

that is not sustainable at all that's more luck than anything

The BABIP is unsustainably low, but his HR/FB rate is unsustainably high. Nothing about his exit velo, barrel % or hard hit % suggests much unusual. His FB is still averaging nearly 95 and he's striking out 12 per 9. He's fine.

Almighty Garden State
that might have been the best series the A's played against HOU since they joined the division

good to see Luzardo, Puk and Murphy all contribute. fun core to watch, Semien has been worth the patience.
