Yoan Moncada has flown under the radar, he had a great season. A lot of people wanted to write him and Giolito off last year, huge positives heading into next season

and Tim Anderson gonna win the batting title

Wish it would result in some more wins but progress nonetheless
If they sign a few quality vets in the offseason, I could see them making a 20 win jump or more next season.

Yeah, 2020 has always been the year they were expected to turn a corner. Bring up Robert & Madrigal. Sign a RH, get a stop gap DH for a year until Vaughn is ready and add some pitching in FA. Kopech should be ready for start of training camp. I don’t expect them to go after Cole but they continue to maintain they aren’t afraid to pay for premium players, it’s put up or shut up time with that. It’s the perfect time to start spending a bit

No chance they'll bring Abreu back for a year? I know he'll want a long term deal at his age but maybe he'll take an overpay for a year.

Man, I'd be shocked if Cole went to a cold weather team but your team definitely has the cap space to throw a massive offer at him. At least drive up the price for whoever lands him. With all their best players making peanuts for the foreseeable future, they could swing for the fences with him and Wheeler. I wonder if Puig would be interested in signing there with Moncada and maybe Abreu back.

it always happens when it comes to prospects. People have no patience. Some take longer than others to adjust and figure things out.

I got into alot of arguments about Tucker and his MLB stint last year. He was labeled a bust after 64 at bats. He was really unlucky last year and had hard hit rate. Shyt, people wanted Bregman back down when he started 1-32.
Another example is JD Davis. He had the talent but was never going to get the PT time with the big league club. Now he's having a good season with the Mets.

Oh I totally expect Abreu to be back, I think he'll eventually be our DH once Vaughn is up. He has talked repeatedly about how he doesnt want to play anywhere else, I think he would even give them a discount deal to stick around and see this rebuild out

My predictions for divsion winners

AL East: Yankees

AL Central: Tribe

AL West: Astros

NL East: tough one... Between the Braves and Phillies I'd say ATL

NL Central: Cubs

NL West: Dodgers
I got four out of six right for my predictions :banderas: Could be 5 out of 6 if the Cubs win the NL Central :wow:

What are your overall feelings on Maddon, most Cubs fans I know don’t think he deserves to be fired

I don’t think he should be fired(technically his contract expires after 2019) , my only issue with maddon is how he handles the bullpen and starters at times. Maddon isn’t the person who put this roster together and traded high upside players and kept the bums but management won’t fire themselves. There’s several cub fans who want maddon gone I read it on twitter daily

Whatever happens Theo gonna have to step his game up this offseason.

Damn, it's almost always the Latin players beating their women.

TBH, a lot of it is cultural. Hitting a woman is seen as being normal in a lot of Latin American countries. It’s slowly changing, but it’s ingrained in a lot of men that there’s nothing wrong with hitting women and a lot of women believe that a man hitting you means he loves you.

Most of the time when these stories come out the violence is either recorded or its at a public venue. These women probably get hit routinely at home, but they would never say or do anything about it.

White Sox could really make some moves. They’re one of those teams that didn’t have a good year but can be happy about the direction they’re headed in.

If y’all want Clint Frazier, the Yankees will listen
