I wouldn't be surprised if he has something going on with his shoulder or elbow.

He's always had a violent delivery with a slight frame and he's been pitching like that for nearly a decade. Nowadays it seems like it's only a matter of time until a pitcher has to get TJ surgery or suffers the dreaded labrum/shoulder injury.

Red Sox shoulda waited to re-sign him, not like free agents are making a killing in this current market.
