Kimbrel And Keuchel no longer have draft compensation attached.

They can be signed for just money

Per Passan, Kimbrel wants a multi-year deal.

Was watching the Red Sox game last night and A-Rod was practically begging for Morales to bunt to third as Boston shifted to the first base side. He didn't want to blast analytics but he essentially blasted analytics by pointing out Morales' stubbornness, the decreased skills in today's game and overall lack of situational awareness.

He's 22, already has a no-hitter and currently riding like 20 consecutive scoreless innings in AA.

At minimum, he should be in AAA.
No reason to rush it. The talent in triple and double isn’t much different I believe. Sometimes you might see more comp in double with more prospects and less journeymen. He’ll be up soon either way

If he keeps mowing down batters like this in the minors though, what good will it do him? He'll have to get challenged again.

Given the sorry state of the professional team, he has to be in the starting rotation next season. It's pretty hard to describe the level of apathy towards the Tigers right now given what's happened in the last few years and decades of worthless draft picks. There is absolutely no reason to tune into games right now.

Dudes like him will eventually get bored

Gotta keep pushing, at worst he should be a sept call up

Yeah, but you had hitters and pitchers to get excited about.

Detroit has quite a few pitchers in the pipeline. Position players on the other hand...it's VERY bleak.

What makes it even worse is they basically got nothing of note when they traded Verlander, JD and Upton. :snoop:

This is true sometimes AA is actually much better then AAA in terms of development

How you guys didn't rob the Astros blind when you traded Verlander is the biggest wtf.

Harper signed for 330 million.
Machado signed for 300 million.

Combined they have 20 HR.

Christian Yelich has 22.
