Buxtons improvement has a lot to do with the coaches not trying to turn him into some single hitting, bunting, base stealer. He has legit power and should have been trying to maximize that. I think a lot of his strikeout issues were coming from the twins wanting him to work the count and it's not easy hitting when you're down in the count every time up.

We will see how sustainable it is but his power is legit. The doubles arent flukes where hes hitting bloopers and just using his speed, it's some rockets off the wall and into the gap. Staying healthy will be the only thing that keeps him from being a good player. Hitting might make him a great :lupe:

Anyone into the draft?

Heard it’s a weak draft but the catcher Ruschtman who’s gonna get picked 1st by the Orioles is a beast.

Even though I wasn't following baseball too closely I remember somehow hearing about Jurickson Profar back in like 2012 and how he was going to be the next superstar. Now years later he's batting .190 with a .258 OBP :skip:

If we get another parade in our lifetime Astro’s brehs remember to bring a fkn step stool. I was the only smart one to think of bringing one since I’m only 5’7” and I got to enjoy the parade to its fullest :blessed:

Might just bring my retractable ladder if we get a second parade, the step stool was easy to bring and I wouldn’t feel bad if security told me to ditch it. Since they didn’t say anything last parade I may as well do it bigger. :troll:

Went most of my baseball watching life with the Twins style of ball being slapping it the other way, bunting, pitchers who got groundouts and good defense. Now this team has a legit shot at 6-7 players hitting over 20 home runs. This shyt is crazy :wow:

The Twins minor league system is pretty good too so if they get the guts, they can and should add another starter or reliever. The Cleveland baseball has basically punted on the season and if the Twins keep winning, could make it easier for cleveland to try and trade Bauer and/or Kluber.
If the goal is to see/beat us in the playoffs the very last pitcher you want to trade for is Kluber, we torch him every time we see him. :troll:

80 pitches through 4 innings for sale :skip:

My wife works at the Allen center. They blocked off the area for all employees. I had a good view

Milwaukee is a hitters park and compared to Marlins park, the jump is even more drastic. He was always a great hitter but I'm sure he has figured out how to turn a couple more of those line drives into fly balls which turns into home runs. Hes just a great hitter and hes always gotten better. I just think nobody really watched him in Miami and he was overshadowed by Stanton and Ozuna that this was even more shocking to people.

I wonder what Yelich is doing different these last two years
