Reddikk dead weight and will clear space. Want to keep Springer if possible because I just don't see Tucker ready next year (He ain't built like Yordan). I know it will be tough eating his and Correa's contract but they can manage if Cole leaves. If George does leave, they gotta keep Cole.Trading for Bauer using elite prospects when we already have enough depth without Cole
I think if we can offload Springer and Reddikk in the same deal we will be able to sign Cole and get a few good prospects as well.
Next years rotation should look like this
Verlander
Greinke
Sanchez
McCullers
Whitley/Peacock/McCugh/James/etc.
Cole is just a luxury at this point not a necessity for next season.

Yeah it really is one or the other. Unfortunately I value Cole over Springer at this point since you can have “some” production recovered from Tucker but the gap in talent is larger with Cole gone compared to our leftovers. We will be fine and still very much a playoff team but will we be elite and on top of the league/AL? That’s a lot harder to believe if we don’t have 1 of those 2 players.

It's crazy how many HRs Verlander has given up this season. His WHIP and batting average against are the best in the league and he also leads the league in HRs allowed.
Only hits he gives up are homers
Baseball is so goofy. Only 2 players on the astros and tigers had hits. Chirinos had a 4-4 day but it literally doesnt matter because none of his teammates had hits in front or behind him. Aces not getting run support always hurts my heart
