Shark's been pretty good this year. Does he have a team or player option for next season? Could be an interesting trade piece in the winter if SF keeps him.

where and how much does Rendon sign for this upcoming offseason?

Nationals keep him? He’s having another great season, just turned 29 this summer

I’m curious to see how his situation plays out, he’s a Boras client

I can't imagine the Nats would let him walk but the Braves would seem to be an obvious suitor as I'm sure they'd let Donaldson walk for Rendon (and might anyway). White Sox could make a run to put him at third and Moncada at second. If the Mets spent money, they'd also be a logical spot.

The Braves are the team I'd single out as being the most aggressive for him.

I’ve heard the Sox might pursue him but we do suddenly appear to have a full infield with Moncada & Anderson emerging this season. Nick Madrigal is slotted to be at 2nd and batting leadoff as of next year

Depends on his salary demands. Chances the Braves could move Riley to 3rd and bring up Waters, Pache or both. Anyone with Boras as an agent usually ain't gonna be Braves. I would keep him if I am the Nats. He was always more vital to winning than Bryce without the headache. He's been a tremendous success since his freshman year at Rice. Wasn't he a national player of the year as a freshman which is unprecedented.

If we can move Cespedes this offseason, and use those funds for Rendon, that would be perfect. An infield of Rendon, Rosario, McNeil and Alonso would be great for years to come.

That actually would be crazy but if he cost as much as Boras wants, arby gonna be a bytch for ya'll when Alonso is due. To me, the Mets had all of that top level pitching with Matt Harvey being the ace and outside of DeGrom, them nikkas flopped like a bytch. I remember this was suppose to be Maddux/Glavine/Smoltz in Citi Field. Damn! That said, I been watching the Mets and outside of when they play the Braves, them nikkas good. Wheeler stepping up his game nicely.

Even if they don't they should go after Rendon. Ces is off the books after 2020 anyway.

Vlad Guerrero jr plate discipline is absurd
Might be the best hittee in baseball next year at this time :Imad:
His bat has been an 80 tool for along time. One scout said he is Tony Gywnn with ++power.

I like Tatis Jr. More but his style of play might lead to injuries throughout his career.
