Win your division and you don't have these problems. If they made this a series, it invites the discussion of even more playoff teams.

it wouldn't open up any discussion about more playoff teams. all it would do is add one or two days at the most to the playoff schedule.

agree about winning your division and not having that problem to begin with. just saying a 1 game playoff is dumb. either stick with the one Wild Card spot or do a quick, best of 3 series.
