I think it's a closer call than some have said, but I'd still have hit for him.
Of course, his abomination of an at bat made the decision look significantly worse.
I misunderstood your post. I still agree with the decision though. If there were two outs, it woulda been a tougher call but you still have the top of the order with one out and two guys on. You have to trust that, especially with how bad their pen is and Strasburg was keeping them in it.No shyt, lol. It wasn't about taking out Strasburg, but maximizing your scoring opportunity down 3 runs in an elimination game.
He deserves to get fired for what he did to Jansen alone nevermind his other terrible decisions tonight.I hate to see a brother lose his Job in any walk of life.
But Roberts is a goner. The 106 wins means nothing when you've been to the world series the previous 3 seasons.
Its going to be a tough call. The Dodger bats went ice cold yet again in another post season. Will Cody Bellinger ever be called out?I hate to see a brother lose his Job in any walk of life.

Come on, you aren't this dense. Three runs is more than manageable, especially with the way the ball is flying out of the park these days. Strasburg is one of their aces and he'd settled down.He hadn't been "keeping them in it" though...he'd given up 3 runs in 4 innings.
