Bullpens in baseball are so volatile. It's why both Roberts and Martinez stuck with their guys as long as they could. Nats only had about 3 hard hit balls off Buehler and the dodgers biggest threats after the 2nd inning were the innings bellinger got on and stole 2nd.
Bellinger and Seager were terrible at the plate and that killed them. Those guys came up with chances to do damage multiple times in the series and couldnt buy a big hit while the Nats two best hitters did what they needed to do in those clutch moments. Scherzer deserves another crack at a ring.
