It's crazy how quick all this young talent has come up.

Acuña, Soto, Torres, Tatis Jr, Devers, Alvarez, and Albies are all in their early 20s. Then you have Trout, Bregman, Betts, Altuve, Judge, Rendon, and others.

I'm definitely forgetting names and I didn't even list any pitchers yet. The game is definitely in good hands. MLB has to do better in marketing these guys. Let these players showcase their personality. fukk the old school methods and unwritten rules. We're about to be in year 2020. shyt has to change.

MLB Network can honestly do better as well. They feature the same teams most of the time but they definitely do better than ESPN when it comes to showcasing teams.

You can tell the old school goin out the door Remember they used to make a big deal out of Lastings Milledge for his “excitement” during the game and now you have Soto grabbing his junk at pitchers and nobody is complaining. Ten years ago he would’ve been ostracized and criticizing by the old school

I don't know about that. I've heard plenty of criticism of Ronald Acuña Jr this season.

Maybe it’s location because Soto been doing it for a while. They even asked Davey Martinez about it and he defended it by saying that’s just how he gets himself focused on his at bat. DC just more laidback and liberal I guess than old southern Atlanta.

Dope stat but it's survivor's bias. Players don't make it that deep into their careers without being good in the first place. Also, having young guys like Soto/Torres/Acuña making pennies on the dollar make it easier to fill the rest of the roster with vets.
