Yea I meant 2nd round. We initially had the 60th pick in that round, you guys were at 59. We then traded up a couple spots to get ahead of you and draft Ratledge. A couple Detroit reporters have said there were heavy rumors that you were going to take Ratledge at 59 if he was still on the board.

The thing that kills me is that we have a similar d-line focus on setting edges and stopping the run instead of getting QBs. But your secondary, when healthy, is built to compliment that. Whereas ours, specifically at CB, isn't. I wish we had simply stayed put in the 2024 draft and took Wiggins instead of trading up for Terrion Arnold. I still think he's gonna be good eventually but man, Wiggins is clearly the better player as of right now. But since we want bigger CBs who tackle we decided not to take a guy who clearly had better coverage skills smh...

The Ravens current issues->
Defense...it's 95% on coaching / 5% on players
Offense...85% coaching /15% on players

...The foundational issues with the players are also directly attributed to coaching

I can expound later today or during the week

Personally for me, the Ravens are past the stage of fire Harbaugh, and other coaches. The focus should be 100% all on Steve Bisciotti.

It's a damn shame there's zero pressure or accountability on Steve Bisciotti allowing this BS

That Chiefs defense was ready to be feasted on.

Lamar panicked after the int :francis:
Lamar is the very least of the Ravens problems....I hate takes like this

We saw Lawrence concede a turnover and still win
Maye conceded a turnover and still won
....Lamar was already playing injured, behind a shytty line that not even Derick Henry can succeed in.

Our coaches(schemes, alignments, plays, etc) actually physically and performance-wise hurt our players

Harbaugh, Orr, and Bisciotti are allowed to avoid accountability because of First Take/NBA Twitter surface-level Twitter points that focus solely on QBs.

Meanwhile against the ravens Kansas City scored or at least attempted a field goal on all but 1 drive.

Lamar was moving the ball down the field with ease against the Chiefs.

After the turnover he would not throw the ball away/take a sack that killed drives.

Everything can be true. Orr and Harbaugh are problems. However, specifically against the Chiefs it seems like Lamar tends to lose himself.

Gimpy Lamar is still faster than Trevor Lawrence and he still wouldnt take off and run. Mistakes are ok but how you respond to mistakes is key. And its been a long time since he played a clean game against the Chiefs.

Its not surface level when Lamar looks totally different vs everyone else. Again trash DC, Harbaugh is jag, but he needs to be locked in as normal against KC.

I’m shocked

this is a desperate move by Harbaugh

usually he wouldn’t sign someone like CJ
From the reports of why he got cut, seems like he would be a cancer for that lockerroom. If he was causing trouble for someone like Fangio/Demeco(Two defensive minds), what makes Harbaugh think he and Orr can control him?

Throw the ball where? Get an intentional grounding + still get hit anyways. That's an offensive line and playcall issue.

Lost himself? He left the game injured.

we need help in the trenches and they keep adding safeties :heh:

2 safeties in one day lol
I'm confused
But not shocked
....Makes me think they believe it's personnel instead of coaching....
If that's the case, we're fukked

The Bengals trading for Flacco, leads me to believe Burrow will be back by late November/early December.
We're going to be in for a fight to win the division
....Bengals would've been much better off trading for Jameis or Russ
