I knew the Chiefs game was a wrap as soon as I saw Travis Jones was out.

I'm not sure where we go from here but we still going to win the division.

You do realize Aaron Rodgers is regaining swag every week as we speak....

Making the playoffs is the ultimate season goal as it stands, imo.

After looking at a few plays of the all 22 angle. The biggest problem with this oline is A gap blitzes and the inability of Faalele to diagnose and adapt to what's presented to him in passing downs. The oline doesn't communicate or appears to not call out assignments so everyone's on the same page. This oline is going to get Lamar seriously hurt.

They've got no shot at beating teams with active, physical dlineman. I thought they would beat the Texans. I don't think so now. Their dline is way better than the Ravens oline. I'm looking for Lamar to sit this out, but even if he plays, the result will be the same. Texans defense is going to punish this offense. Any team struggling offensively only needs to play the Ravens defense to get their MOJO back. This season is a wash.

The offensive line has already got him hurt on the hit by Ed Oliver, followed up with 3 sacks vs Browns, 7 sacks vs Lions, and another 3 vs Chiefs.

Centers and QBs provide the continuity of the O-Line assignments. Centers handle it for inexperienced QBs until they grow into the role, but that's an allocation of responsibility that the QB and center can work out.

It's funny that Phillip Rivers gets crapped on...but he made protection calls and has literally told young defenders they wasn't lined up properly for what the opposition was trying to to do to stop him, lol.

This is the exact play Lamar got hurt on. After the play, Lamar was slow getting up and then when he got up, you could tell he felt like something was wrong. Lamar has heart and he definitely did not fake the injury yesterday. Can't believe people actually were pushing that narrative about him.
I think he let's stuff get to his head which is why he struggles against certain teams and in certain situations, but he's tough and plays hard.

I saw Linderbaum do it last year, but maybe somebody told him Lamar should be the only one talking at the LOS. They're missing too many blocking assignments for communication, not to happen and the mistakes are concerning. You learn at the most basic level of football as an olineman, the widest man is the quarterbacks responsibility, so nothing should be coming up the gut. Faalele is horrendous. This offense needs athletic some what undersized guards at this point. These behemoths they have with Faalele and Cleveland are the most unathletic guys on the roster, maybe the whole AFC North.

Lamar needs to make line checks and point out the mic (middle linebacker).

He bears some responsibility for this

Harbaugh was throwing hella shots at Monken during his presser today. He showed Orr love and didn’t throw any shots his way. The injuries must be giving Zach more lee way

He basically shyt on Monken 2nd, 3rd and 4th series play calling. Same thing @STAN JONES was pointing out yesterday about these deep routes and outlet for Lamar. He also said they really didnt have a plan when they went for it on 4th with Cooper Rush...smh. He also spoke about them breaking tendencies to keep teams guessing. That's the problem right there. Keep doing what works until they take it away from you. Then make them pay. He said he felt good about the film, I don't know how he can say that because the oline looked unprepared. He claims they had a plan and didn't stick to it, to include running the football. I don't know how they go that far away from their "plan."

The one good thing about Lamar not playing if he can't go this weekend. They will be forced to stick to the running game. Atleast a smart coach wouldn't put that kind of pressure on their backup QB.

Ravens gonna be everybody's "get right game." :sadcam::hhh:

Yeah "miles better" was a stretch. They are essentially equal until you account for Allen being more consistently better in the playoffs, and more consistently better vs the Chiefs.

I don't like when mf's, on here or in NFL Media guys like Orlovsky, act like Allen has some unblemished record. I've seen Lamar outplay him head to head multiple times, I saw this mf Allen get emasculated at home in the playoffs by the Bengals and outplayed by Burrow, and the narrative that he "always" plays Mahomes to a draw is an inaccurate depiction, because Mahomes is always the one of the two making the winning play.

But even with those drawbacks, I gotta give him his flowers, he's definitely more consistent in big games and playoffs and he does play better vs KC than Lamar does.

I like Lamar but if its a win or go home scenario I can't take him right now.

Which is why I try to keep most of the convo within the team thread.
nikkas get on here and straight up LIE....said he doesn't communicate pre-snap reads...

:mjpls:

When I don't know something, I ask questions and do the research. But for nikkas to just ASSUME and make up LIES to confirm their bias is crazy smh

The ravens were winless last year when Lamar had a passer rating under 115. A passer rating of 115 is what Peyton Manning had in 2013. 1999 Kurt Warner was at 109. Aaron Rodgers has only had a passer rating above 115 on the season twice as well. Lamar basically had to be perfect last season for the ravens to win.
