We can blame injuries. We can blame personnel. We can blame play calling. At the end of the day it’s apparent Harbs lost the locker room. It’s prolly something that started a long time ago. Maybe back when Marcus Peters was on the team. But the Ravens have such a good organization and talent that they were able to cover it up. But I think the straw that broke the camels back was the playoff lost to Buffalo. The official nail in the coffin week 1 against Buffalo

We can criticize Harbs all we want but one thing that remained constant was they played hard for 60 minutes. Even the Cleveland win was ugly as shyt and had more to do with the fact Cleveland has less talent then the Ravens despite the final score.

Yep. I've never felt good about the Cleveland. Garrett basically kept us out the end zone by himself. I knew we were in trouble after that.

If the Ravens have a top 5-10 draft pick. Would you all prefer they go pass rusher or olineman? I have looked at both coming out and it's not deep. Also, none appear to be generational talents.

If I could make the pick, I'm going pass rusher. The Ravens have struggled to develop players at the position. I haven't given up on Mike Green and I still think he'll get into his flow once he gets his first sack. Sometimes, the first sack is the hardest to get and then when you get it, they just keep coming. I think taking a guard that high is a terrible move and they would most likely trade back to accumulate more picks.

Not trying to speculate or cause rumors. Do you all think Harbaugh is intimidated by Monken? We know his play calling wasnt the best, but he hasn't thrown a coordinator under the bus publicly in a few years.

Yeah "miles better" was a stretch. They are essentially equal until you account for Allen being more consistently better in the playoffs, and more consistently better vs the Chiefs.

I don't like when mf's, on here or in NFL Media guys like Orlovsky, act like Allen has some unblemished record. I've seen Lamar outplay him head to head multiple times, I saw this mf Allen get emasculated at home in the playoffs by the Bengals and outplayed by Burrow, and the narrative that he "always" plays Mahomes to a draw is an inaccurate depiction, because Mahomes is always the one of the two making the winning play.

But even with those drawbacks, I gotta give him his flowers, he's definitely more consistent in big games and playoffs and he does play better vs KC than Lamar does.

I like Lamar but if its a win or go home scenario I can't take him right now.
Yeah Allen being better against tbe Chiefs blitzes is why I can't rank Lamar ahead of him. Its a symptom of Lamar in big games.

Allen isn't unblemished but he has played Mahomes to a draw imo.

What winning play did Mahomes make last year?

Or in 2021?

A lot of their games come down to other players making plays or the coaches making plays outside the QB

The ravens were winless last year when Lamar had a passer rating under 115. A passer rating of 115 is what Peyton Manning had in 2013. 1999 Kurt Warner was at 109. Aaron Rodgers has only had a passer rating above 115 on the season twice as well. Lamar basically had to be perfect last season for the ravens to win.
Many of those games where Lamar had a 115 passer rating, Henry also was BEAST mode. Allen still hasnt had a player as good as 2024 Derrick Henry

Should have signed Jameis instead of Cooper Rush.

He can push the ball downfield. Cooper is a game manager at best and Harbuagh/Monken dont commit to the run enough.

Rush is a plant a throw guy for the most part. It's will give the team different live action data to assess for use when Lamar returns.

He’s still hurt over Super Bowl 47. Look at it this way BD, because of that game we’re stuck with John Harbaugh all these years later.

YOU GOTDAMN RIGHT IM HURT.

I never denied that……

Ravens hurt me
Chiefs broke me

Now I live my Coliseum days terrorizing and extracting my revenge

Yes - he says Monken as a threat to take over as an interim coach.

....or there's no point in piling on the obvious or and the shytty defense
....Harbaugh's criticism of Monken is valid, there's no excuse in Henry not being on those key downs

Same reason that Rex, Kubiak, and Pagano didn’t stay for long but pees, cam, mattison, and Trestman were all defended by him.
