My biggest issue with EDC is that he spends too many picks on projects and most haven't worked out. Yes I get coaching is to blame but some of the guys we are starting should not be starting for a team that is supposed to be competing for a SB. Guys can't block, can't tackle, can't cover, etc. That's not all on coaching. And while I think Starks will eventually be a solid player for us, I feel like we needed line help so why not take Campbell or Simmons? Why not overspend to get someone here who is going to be a game changer, instead of waiting until we are 1-4 to make those same moves? And I think the coaching staff needs to go along with him. I think the problems with this team have been there for many years, and it's a combination of the roster and the staff.
Question time….
Who are the projects?
Who are/were the alternatives to said projects?
Can we start speaking in facts, and truth. Instead general terms.
Guys who previously could block, tackle, and cover…all of a sudden can’t. That’s not talent if they did it before, that’s coaching because they aren’t setup for success.
-When you’re predictable on offense of course the defensive line will have a jump on you and make it more difficult to block.
-When the coach has favorites and refuses to make it competitive on who starts…coaching.
-When your offensive line coach passes away, forced to sign Warhop. I already posted the PFF rankings of Warhop teams. They perform better when he leaves.
-Went from historically great defense with majority of the same players to this…coaching
-This soft press giving up 5 to 8 yards to receivers. Its clear guys aren’t picking up the route concepts, always trailing, never around the ball. Bad on run, pass, getting off the field. Teams constantly going for it on 4th.
It’s 100% coaching

Even if we got said game changer in Micah Parson. I have a feeling the coaches will coach what makes him great out of him.
I said this pages ago, if Bischotti not going to do it. On defense, our players need a mutiny, go rogue and call their own damn plays
