EDIT: In general this project more than any Al project so far, I think goes to show that with these particular beats...if it was someone else it wouldn't get this kind of love. And I'm not even saying that like it's a terrible thing. But for sure this is a case of him being able to pull this off because he's the guy with the name and the reach. This project sounds like a lot of loose and almost unfinished sounding loops and chops, and it sounds like he was just having fun with some scattered samples and got some raps on them. If any of us put this out I don't think it would fly. Just an observation. No hate.
This absolutely feels like This Thing of Ours Part 3. That TTOO series and this Flying High all sound like the most minimalistic beats out of all his projects. When you listen to Price of Tea, Bo Jackson, Tecmo Bo, Lulu, Alfredo, Tana Talk 4, Elephant Man's Bones, or even Bread EP...the production definitely sounds way more finished and full bodied on those.
