He definitely has produced at a higher clip than his peers over the years. Can’t wait to hear his work on Everybody Can’t GoAdd it to the list. Bread. Lunch Meat. Boldface. This Thing 1. This Thing 2.
Dude's released more music than any of his peers.
There's usually at least one true EP (3-5 tracks) from him annually. They include the instrumentals too which is dope.

Something for people to whine about, apparentlyIt ain't a maxi single because it has four different tracks and no remixes...so what is it?

the classic definition of EP is 3-5 tracks and under 30 mins long, but in the UK any more than 4 tracks and it has to be considered an album and not just an EP.It ain't a maxi single because it has four different tracks and no remixes...so what is it?
I’m not whining because I don’t give a fukk. Just having a discussion. GoddamnSomething for people to whine about, apparently![]()

I always looked at EP’s like 6-7 tracks like back in the day. I don’t remember anybody ever dropping a 4 song EP in the glory days.the classic definition of EP is 3-5 tracks and under 30 mins long, but in the UK any more than 4 tracks and it has to be considered an album and not just an EP.
I think hip-hop fans have gotten used to longer EPs in the 2010's dropping projects just slightly shorter than full albums and still calling them EPs. For example, Pete Rock and CL Smooth's first EP was 6 tracks, but then in the late 00's, Evidence's Layover EP for was 9 tracks, which is definitely an LP in any other genre. Gibbs' Str8 KIlla EP from 2010 was 8 tracks. Some mixtapes have also been called EPs.
fukk, Rapsody had several 20 track projects in 2011 and 2012 designated as EPs.
TL;DR: In hip-hop we've gotten a lot of EPs with more than 5 tracks, so seeing a literal EP with 4 tracks sometimes feels weird.
