First off we're talking about musicians making art of their own free will. (Many artists have come out and said its NOT of their free will and they oftentimes get their creative license undermined in their craft.). Imagine trying to shame an artist out of making their art the way they want to. (So it’s shaming when blk dudes wanna have non-blk women in their art the way they want to but it’s not shaming if blk women follow suit. Because if so the premise of this entire thread is zany as hell. Lol!) This is a free country and if someone wants to portray the women in their work as hoes and thots they can do so. (If this is a free country, blk women can also complain about their men representing them in degrading ways and then abandoning representation when called on it. AND getting butthurt when the same thing happens to blk men.) And if a black woman isn't willing to fill that role there's a non black woman who is willing. These are the facts. That would be like me turning down a job picking cotton because I'm a proud black man but then getting mad when I see nothing but eses in them fields.
What kinda monkey shyt is that? If I was really proud seeing no black people in that field at all is what I would want. Someone is lying.
Which brings me to logical followup from that truth: don't support the artists you don't like. (I concur! And many blk women are catching onto that!) Which again I say, someone is lying. I would like for black men AND blk women to stop being hypocritical in their own special way when it comes to this shyt. I’m sure if I ever go to post on Lipstick Alley there’s probably tons of white worship even as they cry about blk dudes dating out.

I would also like for people to quit acting like black women were crazy, insecure, jealous, hating, dikk watching b/c we don’t have any options, when many were pointing this shyt out damn near three decades ago. But people were telling us to get over it. Sorry about that. Suffice it to say, what I disagree with is the hypocrisy. When u say it’s artistic license for blk dudes to choose their representation, but when blk chicks do the same with non-blk men, all of a sudden it’s an agenda.
