.......I got an X1X on the way (might get it today!) and was planning to re-buy a 360 since that was amongst the consoles I had that got fukked up in the storm. Even though I'm about to go read up on this shyt, how strong is the X1's backward compatible catalogue/capabilities?
Well, that depends on you standard for BC shyt. M$ remastered some older games (notably Skate 3). RDR is also cool with the X1.
But....if you want full BC, you aren't gonna find it on the X1X (or the PS4pro, for that manner). The current gen consoles are working on a different platform that their previous systems.

So it's still pretty much how it was the last time I checked up on it, with them doing that shyt through emulation if I'm not mistaken? Then that means there is a solid chance alot of the obscure shyt I got on my shelves that might not have made the list would still need a 360 to play. I'll just get a cheap 360 Arcade (The fat ones without the hard drive) and call it a day on that. Thanks, breh.
Yeah, breh. You are right. The BC shyt is problematic for the current gen systems. NOthing you can do about that though. I, personally, still have a 360 for certain games. Id suggest you do the same, as long as you care about "old" games

And I do, trust me. Alot of old piff I got on Original Xbox and the 360 I still play/revisit from time to time with all my other consoles. Plus I got a a solid chunk of games I bought but never played (Borderlands being a prime example of this) that I still need to get down on in some respect. How's the Ps4Pro on BC 'cause even though I'm now just copping my first Ps4 console, I know that Sony was on some fukkboy shyt with the BC around the time they were making the first ps3's. They software locked it and brought out the woefully inadequate PSN store in it's wake for obvious reasons......and I still got tons of PS3 games as well and was thinking of re-buying a cheap PS3 just to play 'em.

I finished the main campaign for BL1 and I'm going through the DLC and then directly on to two. I think I got the Handsome edition for X1, which has all the DLC and some of the Telltale games for it, I'm not sure, but trust, I'll be down on that shyt.
and while I've the ability to be a PC gamer, truth be told, I ain't really got the time/patience for it right now in my life to be dealing with all that shyt, I just wanna plug in and play with what little time I got between living life, working my ass off (Pause) and currently getting high, so I still fukks with old consoles/games like that, and I got a feeling I'm gonna be doin' that shyt until the grave.
I might as well bite the bullet and cop a Fat Ps3 that could have handled both Ps1/2 games before they got locked out instead of buying a Ps2 to save space, but truth be told, I'm planning on buying another telly just for old consoles breh, my devotion to that nostalgia is that deep.
