Really enjoying Tokyo Xanadu(Vita).

Also, bought Soul Sacrifice Delta before the Mid-Year Sale ended. I loved Soul Sacrifice(the only game in the Hunting genre I actually beat)

Decided at the last minute to go to the Supercon in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Never been to a real convention like this before. Not sure what to expect besides long lines and smelly kids. Figured I'd go at least once to see first hand what all the talk is about. I'm not expected this to be "my crowd" at all but hopefully I'll find a few dope things to bring back home.
Looking forward to seeing the guy that does the voice of Rick and Morty, the guy that does the voice of Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul and a bunch of other famous people that are scheduled to be there.

Beat Tokyo Xanadu. Really enjoyed it. Glad I went with the Vita version instead of waiting for the PS4 one. The game fits the pick up and play style well. The labyrinths are shorter and game play loop encourages going as fast as possible.

Currently going through New game plus in it in Nightmare mode.

Man FF9 feels slow as fukk when battling lol.
Like damn it felt like an eternity waiting for an attack to happen but it gives me that warm PS1 FF goodness so I'm sticking with it. Funny how I rather play that than touch FFXV which I only played like 8 hours of.

...So I went to that Raleigh Supercon and it was actually pretty cool. There was a bunch of people too nerdy for my taste, but everyone was polite and did their own thing so it was cool overall. Met a couple cool people up there. They had a TON of stuff to do, between video game tournaments, board games, celebrity Q & A sessions, autograph sessions, professional photo ops and a bunch of other stuff. I ran into a cool black comic book team and bought some of their merch and talked with them for a bit. Their comic is Tuskegee Heirs. If you haven't heard of them check them out. They definitely deserve your support. They're humble and are out here working hard to bring black characters to the forefront. Greg Burnham was showing me some videos of a pilot they're working on to make the comic books into a cartoon.

Other than that, I'd say it's something I would go back to. I don't recommend it for everyone because there was a lot of time spent standing in lines, but overall for me, the experience was dope.

I am glad you had fun breh. I like to go to comic cons once every few years. I never had a bad experience. It's good to meet people who are jus as excited about comics and etc as you are.

Whenever I do go I always make sure to check out the cosplay competitions. I always appreciate the amount of time people put into their costumes.

One year a breh came dressed in his Publix uniform with a crown and a staff. He called himself the Publix King and the crowd went nuts when he crossed the stage :dead:

Just got the hookup on Steam. My boy is a longtime user and gamer. He's got almost $1000 worth of games and hooked me up. They got some account share thing. Mostly old games since he gets them on sale but stuff I haven't played. Good that now I got games to play.
