:jbhmm:
You gotta get that anti-social nerd generalization out of your head especially when it comes to black nerds. :childplease:

That's not even remotely close to an accurate description of Black people and it certainly hasn't been going on for "decades".
This is a NEW phenomenon brought on by the popularity of Hip Hop/Gangsta rap and the adoption of Style and Language from
the inner city not necessarily because black men in mass became thugs because that's all black women are attracted too.

Many "Black men" are eating, I'm a fukking proud nerd and I've never struggled with attracting black women, the problem with
certain types of "Black" people period is they don't like or want to be around black people and that shyt can be felt ALL the way across
the room.

I'm a nerd so I've had to listen to my black friends who only listen to metal, spends dozens of hours playing videogames and aspire to
be artists/game designers go on about how "Black people don't like me" or "I don't think any black woman/man would be interested in me"
or even worse they fetishize white people like their skin color makes them special.

Nine times out of 10 they're fukking projecting or dealing with some fukked up ugly view of what being "Black" entails.

I agree with self improvement, just that it's should be a concern when we got a sizable portion of black folks suffering since NWA came out in the late 80s and cause the thug/nerd nonsense and super simplify the image of black men.

You goof, use your brain. It's a simple as this a nerd to black women and other black men like you for that matter is a man who doesn't fit the description of the arrogant boastful slothful black male. It's not the guy who likes anime or reads comic books those are geeks. Hell a nerd in a black woman's eyes doesn't even have to be super educated. He just has to be separate and apart from the typical "thug, player, stoner" that so many black women were foolish enough to procreate with. These are the guys passing their genes to the next generation of black people.

And I'm saying, who gives a fukk about what some ratchet ass bytch thinks. :heh: if a dude is a nerd/geek he shouldn't even be trippin on trying to bag a ratchet that's on some shallow shyt.

There are plenty of decent "regular" black chicks that will give them play. Not all bw want thugs

Imma just cut @MarsPunka off. There aren't any black nerds. Black female nerds = the ugliest, most overweight, most desperate women in the black community that are so thirsty they'll accept the nerds and lames because that's all they can get. That's what she's really tryna say, so I'll say it for her. The Moniques, the Countess Vaughns, the Preciouses. That's the kinda women she's talking about. Nah. No thanks. Most black lames arent unattractive. They just don't live up to the hypermasculine standards of the black community. You clean them up, put them in a suit, put money in their pocket and they don't look too bad. So why should they get with the absolute worst looking black women. All that hyper masculine thug shyt doesn't fly in other communities. So the cute average girls over there don't see him as lame or undesirable. He's saw as normal. And you'll get some cute non-black girls liking you eventhough the cute black girls thought you were too lame and too square. That's why them nikkas hopping the fence like their lives depended on it. You're like some janky local business man trying to sell someone an inferior product for $100 and try to convince them to stay loyal to local businesses (black love) when a superior product is online for $40. Go get a black nerd that looks like Monique or Marty Khan when you can get a cute slim non-black chick. Yea no thanks.
I was with you up until you dissed the gawdess

In black pop culture which affects black youth culture it varies though ...

Remember MJ and Prince and Debarge?

Remember the 80's

Gerri Curl Juice and glittery clothes

Ok

Go ahead and call that stuff bad boy if you want that's on you ...

Right after that soft simpy R&B was still running things (Afrocentric hip hop and Gangsta Rap were in the back) until bad boy / gangsta hip hop fully kicked in
Breh Michael Jackson was a clean motown pop act.
But Rick James ? Cameo ? What do you think these guys represented ?

AND PLEASE Don't tell me you just used mister " 'Cause you had a pocket full of horses. Trojan and some of them used."
as an example of "not a bad boy".
Prince EPITOMIZES a racy ROCK/R&B Star, in fact, I couldn't pick a more apt example.

I also don't agree with the idea that music has THAT much of an effect on a person's behavior, something
I have and will continue to stand behind.

:salute:

The term "nerd/lame" in the black community is ass backwards and I cringe when black ppl use it. "Nerds/lames" in the black community are just everyday, normal functioning people in other communities. :francis:
IN THIS THREAD we embrace the idea of a "Thug Culture" but when Trump says it or Fox News says it or Don Lemon says it...it's a problem.
