I have positive people around me, I just don't want to feel like I'm doing something to impress someone anymore or that I'm beholden to them.No man is an island. It's not a matter of needing people. But you should surround yourself with positive supportive people who inspire you to be your best. Some people you will resonate with more than others and some will come into your life temporarily who will teach you a lesson that will make you better in the future.
At the end of the day, we are all dependent on each other. The fear of being vunerable is what keeps people from bonding.
I disagree. I'm not putting myself out there looking for a buyer. If I was to go along with the transaction analogy, I'd say I was a rare find in an old boutique. Only someone who sees the value beyond the frame, who sees the masterpiece in the art will get me.
