It's overpriced, but not overrated. All tourist traps are gonna be the same pretty much everywhere you go and they're built because people want to go to them. Not everybody is into seeing the culture and living in a sketchy budget hotel in a third world Central American country.
i stayed at the time share in the harbor of atlantis, like one hundred feet away.
it was awful,.....
i went expecting seafood selections better than baltimore.
i got deserted island food, instead.
best thing was black women knew what a black woman really was when around a black man.
that was the only enlightening and best part of the trip.
plus, they actually dance and look to be asked or pursue to dance and have fun.
i came back expecting more culture from black women, too.
so i liked that part. as i learned something culturally.
yet,...it felt like the people were slaves and held down.
so i was happy to go and not spend any more money there.
that i knew were not going to people who were there for real.
you get the wakeup call when you leave the island where atlantis is.
after that and i saw the real,...i was disgusted and just wanted to get high.
then all the weed was on some huff ass shyt cause the dealers think they can get over.
if i wasn't in such a depressed mood,..i would have slapped dude who tried to sell me that brick brown garbage. after i had to look around, for ever to cop.
women were dope but alternatively prude kinda gold diggers,..like the girl my guy was marrying from there.
so i did not feel that at all either...
shyt was lame,...never again.
maybe for a show but past that,..it was like cleveland with a great hotel.
great looking women, one attraction, no seafood, lame as fukk....
