finally Battier is putting in work after this was his worst season. for the longest time I had him being a life long loser with all those times he would go on good squads and seemed like he would never be the guy to be on a championship team. i remember when the Rockets traded Rudy Gay for him, and than when the Rockets were really good and had that close series against the Jazz, this fool Battier got shytted on something serious against AK47. I thought he was living off that mythical "Kobe stopper" claim, but since last year's playoffs, Shane ain't scared of the moment or scared to shoot. I remember this shot against the Spurs was

breh that claim has been verified as a myth since the Lakers-Rockets series. duing the lead up to the Laker-Rockets series in 09, and there was this segment during ESPN, and this fool is watching tape on Kobe, and was like I know everything about Kobe's game, I know when he is gonna shoot, etc. and in that series, Kobe shyts on him the whole series. I think it was game 2 when Kobe dropped 40, they had to put Artest on Bryant because of the way Kobe was murking Battier breh

Dude has a textbook on all of kobes moves/tapes and studies kobes game religiously and kobe just goes out there and drops 40 on him like nothing

More for the resume. Game 3 yielded two more big 3s to close the first half and a big rebound at the end game. Nowhere near the impact he had the first 2 games, though.
