How is it that one of the most notorious housing projects in the state, has one of the most splendid views in the country? Hunters-Point Bayview has a beautiful location. Overlooking the bay, way up in the hills, yet it’s one of more dangerous areas in the Bay Area. Same with Marin City projects. It’s like the Bay Area is so scenic and beautiful that they can’t even find less than scenic land to build housing projects at. Lakeview, Sunnydale, all grimy but scenic. Filmoe not as scenic, but the buildings are historic and beautiful. San Francisco is natural scenery and architecture porn. :dead:

I know it’s rough. Hunters-Point ain’t for the faint of heart. It’s just crazy how beautiful it is, inspite of all of that.
And then when you meet brehs from there and hear them talk. They’re clearly intelligent and were dealt a bad card.

But yeah I wouldn’t step foot in those trenches at night.

I know hunters/ bayview is contaminated not sure about Marin city.
:patrice:

But I can tell you that the Marin city projects are state and national landmarks because Frank Lloyd Wright designed them
Did not know they were a Frank Lloyd Wright creation. :wow:

Always wanted to watch Sucka Free. Was it accurate? I know some of the accents in the movie sound Eastcoast rather than Bay Area.

When I was living in the bay at that time, I’ve heard method man was suppose to play Anthony Mackies part but kept gettin pressed by homies in the point on some “you know where you at?” type shyt that it kept interrupting production.
