How is it that one of the most notorious housing projects in the state, has one of the most splendid views in the country? Hunters-Point Bayview has a beautiful location. Overlooking the bay, way up in the hills, yet it’s one of more dangerous areas in the Bay Area. Same with Marin City projects. It’s like the Bay Area is so scenic and beautiful that they can’t even find less than scenic land to build housing projects at. Lakeview, Sunnydale, all grimy but scenic. Filmoe not as scenic, but the buildings are historic and beautiful. San Francisco is natural scenery and architecture porn.

I know it’s rough. Hunters-Point ain’t for the faint of heart. It’s just crazy how beautiful it is, inspite of all of that.
