what do you know. Another Saturday. Another Terps 4th Quarter collapse/Loss. Might as well enjoy a Tall Can.

Tonight's Tall Can is the Irish Style Red Ale from Manhattan Brewing Company. The ABV is 4.8, style is a Red Ale. Hits all the notes you'd expect out of a red. See some people say it was kind of earthy but it's got more of a biscuity/malty finish in my opinion. If you like this style it is one you should try if you have them near you.

Beer day at the spot on my way home. So I've been looking for the beer in the 4 pack, but the store had been selling them in singles. So talking to one of the goof troops working in the store about styles and shyt. He's like you peep the singles. And normally I do, but lately haven't been checking them. So I did today and boom there was the beer I'd been looking for. Got the last single.

The beer in question is the DKML by Founders. This is an Imperial Malt Liquor Aged in Bourbon Barrels. The ABV is 14.2%

:russ:

The label says you have what could possibly be the first malt liquor worthy of a glass. And that is the damn truth. This shyt when I poured it into the glass looks like any other Bourbon Barrel Aged Beer I've had. And it went down smooth. No Steel Reserve/Camo style burn. Calling this a Malt Liquor is colonizing haha

If you got em out your way definitely give it a go.

I stopped buying Founders once I found out they had a discrimination suit. They were on that :mjpls: with their black employees.

I used to buy Founders a lot too especially the Porter, Breakfast Stout, and KBS.

I mainly mess with hazy IPA's now. Not sure what state you're in but if it's NY, DC, or Philly you need to try Other Half. I usually hit them up once or twice a month because they rotate about 8 different beers weekly to go with their staples. Tomorrow they have a Citra hops week so I'm going when they open to pick up a few 4 packs. They also ship.

I'd say they're probably the top 2 or 3 ranked brewery for east coast IPA's. They blow Founders out of the water so I don't miss them.

I'm in the midwest. So a lot of our stuff comes from Colorado and Michigan and then the central plains states so Oklahoma, Nebraska/Missouri/Kansas/Iowa
